BEL Chennai unit invites applications from Engineering and B.Com graduates to undergo one-year apprenticeship training under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) through the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BoAT), Southern Region.

Category I: Graduate Apprentices:
The following disciplines are open for graduate apprenticeship training with a monthly stipend of ₹17,500:
Category II: Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
Diploma holders in the following disciplines are eligible for a stipend of ₹12,500 during the one-year training:
Category III: B.Com Apprentices:
Commerce graduates (B.Com) are invited to apply with a stipend of ₹12,500 for one year:
Eligibility Criteria for BEL Recruitment 2025:
- Candidates must belong to the Southern Region (Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, and Puducherry).
- Graduation/Diploma must be obtained from a recognized Board/University after April 1, 2020.
- Age limit:
General: 25 years
Relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities.
- Minimum qualifying marks:
General/OBC/EWS: 60% or above
SC/ST: 50% or above
B.Com graduates: 50% or above
- Candidates who have undergone or are undergoing apprenticeship training elsewhere or have higher qualifications are not eligible.
Selection Process for BEL Recruitment 2025:
- Shortlisting will be based on the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates with CGPA must convert their grades into percentages per their university norms and provide conversion details.
- Statutory reservations apply as per government norms.
- Shortlisted candidates will receive email notifications, and the final list will be published on the BEL website.
